Hey guys... does anyone know if the hotmail.com and hotmail.co.whatevercountry (like hotmail.co.uk) are actually different emails?

Like, if zoi_no_miko@hotmail.com is taken (it's mine), could I register zoi_no_miko@hotmail.co.uk ?

Better yet, can someone not in North America let me know if you can register zoi_no_miko@hotmail.co.whatever?
